These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Participants should retain a copy for their information.
The Promoter takes data protection seriously. By entering this promotion, participants confirm that they have read the Privacy Policy, and agree to these Terms and Conditions for the promotion. By submitting any information required as part of their entry into the Promotion, entrants agree to their information being held and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.

Eligibility
1. Open to UK (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland), Channel Islands and Isle of Man residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its agents, affiliates, or anyone professionally connected to the promotion.
2. No purchase necessary. However, a current, valid email address and internet access is required.
3. Promotion opens for entries from 08.08.24 and closes on 31.10.24 at 23:59. Wamiz questionnaires completed outside this promotional period will not be included in the prize draw.
4. There will be one (1) prize draw for a chance to win the prize. All genuine/valid entries of an acceptable standard received within the promotional period will be included in the prize draw. The prize draw will take place within seven (7) working days of the closing date. ‘Acceptable standard’ means genuine, fully completed questionnaires.
HOW TO ENTER
5. To enter, entrants must visit: https://wamiz.co.uk/news/182109/contest-treat-cat-to-gourmet-revelations-mousse, and follow the link to leave a genuine response to the questionnaire between the stated dates. Only fully completed responses made via the official link will be included in the prize draw.
Entrants will be required to provide their full name and a valid, current email address. Participants may leave more than one response (one per pet), but a maximum of one (1) response/entry per person will be included into the prize draw throughout the duration of the promotion. No one person may win more than one prize.
The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be attempting to circumvent this clause by tampering with the operation of the promotion, setting up multiple accounts or using multiple identities, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions; or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be disruptive.
Entries (bulk or otherwise) from trade, agencies or third parties, or automated entries are not permitted and will be disqualified.
6. Entry into the prize draw is automatic upon completion of a full and genuine response via the official PURINA Pet Census form. All genuine responses will have the same chance of winning. By entering, participants accept that their submitted response is subject to being moderated by the Promoter. Participants are solely responsible for the content they provide. Such entries cannot infringe the copyright or other intellectual property right of others. Any response that are not relevant to the questions posed will be excluded from the promotion. Any inappropriate, unsuitable, or offensive material will be removed immediately and may be reported to the appropriate authorities. Any such submission will subsequently be withdrawn from the Promotion.
7. No responsibility will be accepted for entries which are incomplete, incorrectly completed, not received for whatever reason, or for any technical or other error that may arise with any entry.
Prize Details
8. There is one prize available to be won in total across the prize draw each consisting of a Gourmet Revelations Mousse 4 x 57g. No cash alternative.
Winner selection and notification
9. The winners will be drawn by an independent auditor at random from all valid and genuine entries received by the stated closing date. The first valid entry drawn at random will be deemed the winner and awarded the prize.
10. The winner will be notified via email within seven (7) days of the draw. The winner will be contacted using the email address included in their original entry. If the winner cannot be contacted after 14 days of original notification and after three attempts, or is unable to take the prize, they will lose their entitlement to the prize (which will subsequently be awarded to a reserve winner selected at the time of the initial prize allocation, using the same contact options). Upon completion of the validation process, the prize will be sent by special delivery post or courier, via a tracked and signed for service, within seven (7) days of confirmation of the winner’s address. The prize is as stated and not transferable. No cash or other alternative will be available in place of the stated prize. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize, should the stated item become unavailable for any reason, with an alternative of equal or greater value.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winner’s including, but not limited to, any entrant’s identity, and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement or refuse further participation in the promotion where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements, or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion, or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any such decisions, and these will be binding.
General
12. By taking part in the promotion, the winner agrees that the Promoter may contact them to ask whether they want to participate in marketing activities/PR relating to this promotion only. Such publicity may include, without limitation, the entrants’ name and/or if consent given, image or statements made by entrants concerning the promotion and/or prize obtained as part of the promotion. The winner is not obliged to agree to any such request.
13. IP: By providing an entry, participants grant the Promoter, its associated companies and agents permission to publish, use, reproduce, distribute, make available, edit and/or modify the entry in any way (in whole or in part) for all commercial, advertising and/or promotional purposes in perpetuity throughout the world and in any media, including without limitation on packaging, advertisements and/or the internet and they agree to waive any moral rights to such works.
14. Subject to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy which can be found at Policy https://wamiz.co.uk/privacy, the surname and county of the verified winners will be available upon request by sending an email to: privacy@wamiz.com with the subject line “WINNER: WAMIZ PRIZE DRAW” for a period of three (3) months following the end of the promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any or all such requests. When contacting this email address, your request will be actioned in line with Wamiz Privacy Policy. If the winner objects to their information being published, then they can contact the Promoter by emailing: contact@wamiz.co.uk with the subject line “WINNER: WAMIZ PRIZE DRAW”. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
15. Limitations of Liability: Neither the Promoter nor any associated agencies assume any responsibility or liability for:
a. Any incorrect or inaccurate submission during the registration process, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions.
b. Any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction, or alteration of entry at any point in the operation of this Promotion. Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this Promotion.
c. Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet, or the website, or any combination thereof.
16. Regretfully, the Promoter cannot be held liable for system failures on the website.
17. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
18. Conduct of Entry: Entrants of the Promotion agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 21. In the event of an email address becoming inaccessible during the promotion, the Promoter is not able to retrieve and amend any existing entries to a new email address.
22. All normal internet connection charges associated with the submission of an entry to the promotion shall be the entrant’s responsibility.
23. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these Terms and Conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment
24. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
25. The Promotion and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales but any disputes as to the meaning of these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the participant’s local courts.

Data Protection: The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and the auditing of the entries where necessary and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent and you have opted-in to receive future marketing communications or prize PR.
